The Alexandria Map Society is now welcoming members.
AMS is a new community for maplovers in Alexandria and the surrounding region. Whether you are interested in historic maps, modern cartography, geography, travel, urban planning, collecting, or simply seeing the world in a new way, AMS offers a place to learn, connect, and explore.
Membership helps support Society programs, member communications, and future events. Members will be invited to participate in AMS gatherings, receive Society updates, and help shape a growing community dedicated to maps and geography.
Our first year of programming will include quarterly gatherings, with programs planned for July, October, January, and April. Topics under consideration include space mapping, historic maps, fantasy maps, city planning, maritime maps, and more.
